Sassenach Asymmetrical Scarf

$4.00

Description

Do you like the show, “Outlander”? I love it! I wanted to create something that reminded me of that show, so the Sassenach Asymmetrical Scarf was born!

The use of simple stitches creates a very eye-pleasing scarf that can also be worn as a shawlette or hooded scarf.

Make this as long or short as you like!

I just 1.75 skeins of Style Craft Cabaret in Ocean and stopped at row 119 which gave me 55″ long and 20″ at the widest point. As you keep going beyond that, the scarf will get both longer and wider, making it even more of a shawlette and hooded scarf.

In addition to the #3 weight yarn (about 320 yards for the 55″ length), you will also need:

4mm hook

Scissors

Stitch Markers

Tapestry Needle

I used stitch markers to mark certain numbers of rows so I could count from that point onwards as it got longer and longer!

You can get a simplified free version of this scarf here.
